Hello, been awhile since my last visit here.
I bought my Tokai LS75Q-HDC (heritage dark cherry) from Andy's guitar, Denmark St, London in 1998 for 800 pounds, I think or a bit more, can't remember for sure.
Anyway, I have not played my electric guitars since 2012 as I relocated to another country where in the day it's always above 30'C with high humidity. My move, some how made me lose interest in electric guitars and I strictly concentrated on Acoustic guitar music and techniques and have bought 4 mid-high acoustics to add to my collection of guitars.
A couple of days ago, decided to check on my electrics, had good fun bonding with my Strats, Jazz-box and LP's type.
When comparing the neck of my Tokai LS75Q against my non-serial Edwards LP, the Tokai felt a lot thicker around the shoulders of the neck and both roughly the same Nut width.
Comparing the Tokai LS75Q neck against my Bacchus Duke Premium,
Bacchus neck is much more beefy-chunkier.
I love the feel of the Tokai neck first followed by Bacchus though I have no problem with the chunky neck, Edwards is an ok-ish neck but wished it was abit more beefy-chunky.
So, now I'm thinking I need another MiJ Tokai but in Gold Top...
What is my 1997 Tokai LS75Q equivalent to in today's Tokai market ??
Cheers
