I'm pretty sure Mark (villager) can make an estimated value on Japanese guitars.

its what i would sell one for m8 ..i would buy it for around 450-500 quid in japan.. but hey you asked for a value so i gave you one how did i come to that value..hmm well probably because i have sold around 3-400 love rocks of various grades over the last 10 years, been dealing japanese guitars for 15 years, follow ebay and all japanese auction sites every day, written articles on japanese guitars and have the biggest vintage MIJ collection and sales site in europe for certain and possibly in the world .. good enough for you?

The problem with asking how much something is worth is that things are worth more (or less) in different parts of the world. The OP could have done themselves a favour by telling us what country they are living in.

Thank you for answering my question. I was expecting you will say aside from that is you studied tokai guitars from woods, electronics, hardware etc. and your an authorized dealer of original tokai guitar, Thats why i doubt the price. We all know that there are so many replicas and fake tokai guitars selling in ebay that also part of the reason i am asking.

i dont understand you, there are no "authorized dealers" of vintage tokai guitars, there are very few replicas or fakes of tokais around and your is not one, so i really don't see what you are saying?? if you don't like the valuation then why don't you just put it on ebay and see what you get?

I'm not really surprised since ls-50 or ls-60 are popping up on ebay for 1500 euros and more in the last years. And they are for sale since because no one is willing to pay that amount of money when you can get a ls-80 for that price...that's the point here...ridiculous high ebay prices do not show the real price level.

exactly.. and there is a big spec jump from LS-60 to LS-80. an LS60 will sell within 2 weeks at 7-800 euro depending on condition, it will sit there for ever at 1000 euro.. if you risk an open auction then you might get 500 you might get 800 just depends on the bidders..

Never sell a great guitar especially if it's worth in your opinion more than the market price.
