Landed a very rare Tokai that there is hardly any info floating around on.
However, I did find a magazine with a new product announcement that these were introduced as a limited run of 50, going on sale in April and May 1981, all in blond and priced at 150,000 Yen and came with factory installed Parsons White String Bender. Also found an original Tokai ad that showed it in blonde as a Limited Model TE150 SB-BL. Body and neck are both finished in nitro. and really thin. Neck profile is a really nice V. Guitar appears to be all original.
One question, the body code has an X at the the end: BL = Blond, A = premium model, X = ?
I haven't seen that before, anyone seen it or know what it means?
