Interesting stuff on Yahoo Japan auctions for vintage Tokai LS models; I'm shocked to see these prices in Japan

Makes me wonder what the price point for a 1997 or later LS-320 would be on Yahoo Japan.........

I just gave up bidding on yahoo.jp. Rinkya (my bidding service) also became very unpredictable cost-wise.

Prices during the past two months did not just go up: they went ballistic.
I guess it's the usual problem, supply and demand.

Wow, going collectibles? Well a good thing is that the dollar is so low now you can get a new gibson in the us for half the price, at least if you live in scandinavia.
Get a new standard for 150000yen :wink:

the 175000 is a japanese dealer, and he is paying too much..he just resells straight on to ebay ...many guitars and small profits...

the 298000 has been on 3 times with no bids, and the 250000 is just stupid... no one will bid..

a realistic price is nearer 200-250000 for a mint reborn LS-120

a love rock 1980 would be slightly less... and 1981 onward a fair bit less
