I know most of the best places for Edwards, Grecos etc, but can anybody point me to the best sellers for Tokais?
I'm looking for a LP, preferably a honey or violin burst with a plaintop and open book headstock....know ye of such a beast?

I'm looking for pretty much the same too. did you checkout http://richtonemusic.co.uk/ ?

Hi!
What do you mean when saying "best seller"? Talking bout the cheapest price, or best quality?

Looking for LS135, or looking for LS80?

nice day, "ACY"

New Tokais without the "British dimple" in the headstock: http://www.musamaailma.fi/epages/musa.axl/?ObjectPath=/Shops/musa/Categories/sahkokit/tokai

The 135 is the one with the R8 specs yes ACY? I can't find much details on this guitar. The 80 is a poly finish?

Thanks

I'd suggest to be patient and to stay in this forum. It's easy to get a Tokai branded guitar nowadays (most of them are MIK or MIC).

However, to get a real one you should read, learn and watch.

Cheers! Rupert

Thanks Rupert, been around for a few years, so I know all the MIKs and MICs, thanks for the "heads up" tho

My LS80-F (98) is Poly finish
Beautiful guitar, never part with it, looking for more TOKAIS!!

I actually like the poly since it's not so easy to harm with cheap polishers, cleaners etc
Repairing poly or nitro (small dints etc) is basically done the same, however nitro polishes out better after a repair as the poly semes to give a slight haze even after polishing, maybe I havn't given it a good dose of elbow grease LOL
