What is this Tokai sunburst?

Hi,

I’ve had this bass since about 1993 but since it doesn’t have a name on it I don’t know what it is. I’ve added EMG pickups but otherwise it’s original as far as I know. Any help appreciated - serial no is 222815

That decal looks super sketchy, but the serial number on the neck plate dates to 1987/88.

Limited bass models in that period.

Likely something like a TPB40L YSOR

Pots will probably have a date on them and there should be a production code stamped in the pickup cavity and on the end of the neck.
