Tokai VX or ZX

These things seem really hard to find info about, let alone the actual guitars.

I have a ZX but its been seriously modified so its probably lost all value.

Im after another since the necks are gorgeous and the bodys are amazingly toneful and the shape is great.

Any hints or tips? Im keeping an eye on ebay but im having no luck

i had a red vx some time ago .... i think you can find them in the catalogs from 83/84 ,,,,, it was a good guitar ,,,, it had a tokai tremolo ... witch i did not like ,,,, a great neck and very well build

mine came with a sd humbucker ,,,, so i dont know about the pickups
