Yamaha, Kawai, Suzuki (that one is utterly confusing), Tokai I believe and Nagoya is only 70 road miles NW from Hamamatsu, adding Kasuga, another Suzuki or Iida to the factories making acoustics at that time, not counting smaller workshops I never heard of because I'm not much into acoustics.

Edit: Off-topic but Hamamatsu was (and still is) also the piano and organ/synth/keyboard epicenter of Japan, one even heavily overlapping with guitars:
