Someone changed the info at the k series orvilles. Looks like someone want to sell their K-series as japanese model and obviously, high price.

Once again for people that might not know, the date and serial number format has been worked out for the K Orvilles and they were made from 1989 to 1993 and they come before the ink stamped Orvilles which were made from 1993 to 1998.
Orvilleowner and I worked it out after collecting huge amounts of K Orville serial numbers and getting info from original Japanese owners and we are also not sellers.
Well I'm not and I don't think Orvilleowner is.
The old wrong info did come from sellers such as the K Orvilles coming from 1996.
It's also highly unlikely they are Korean as the K Orvilles predate the ink stamped Orvilles and the prices they were originally sold at were similar.
There is no evidence at all about Korea and even on Japanese sites it is known to be just a rumour.
Rumours like Hollywood gossip spread pretty fast.
