I recently acquired this LS-90Q in matte finish, great guitar but I don't really care for the faded or matte finish :-? There is a brand of polish the vintage guitar dealers use all the time to help restore old finishes. "Virtuoso" is the brand name and it adds a gloss to the guitar. This is after 5 very small and easy coats. For $10 a bottle it's cheap just squirt it on and polish away. I've included several pics, I don't think it does it justice but it's close. You'll also see where I took a photo of the back without the polish, then at the same position I showed the front with polish. Also a pic of my Classic in the normal glossy Gibby finish next to the Tokai, waiting for a pair of Wolfetones pups.
