What model would that be? Specs?

I am asking since I will not have the chance to play it myself since its sold in another city but a guitar player friend will be able to try it for me.
Would it worth a shot sending him checking it out?
Is 400 euros a fair price?

Thanks in advance

That's a September of '81 Super Power model Greco Strat. High end models were named Super Real, lower end models Super Power and I think Spacey sound ?? . But i can't tell you what the differences are between the models when it comes to these Strat type models. Presumably lower end pups and poly finish, more pieces to the body ??

Thanks a lot for your reply.
I can not tell any more than you can about the body pieces?
Does 550 usd sound an ok price? or is it overpriced in your opinion ?

Also in case I d like to change the pickups would it be possible? I remember reading about Greco pickuards not compatible with Fender type ones.

As to the price, the early 80's greco's seem to be the most prized. I suspect that even a lower model Super Power would be quite the good axe, i suppose it depends on what you insist on in a guitar. I personally don't care if it's Nitro or Poly, or how many pieces make up the body etc. But do you ?? What i do care about are the other factors, such as the condition of the frets, is the neck straight ?? Has the owner taken care with the guitar over the years or did he once route it himself for a humbucker or 2, I'd personally want to see some pics of whats underneath the pickguard, you never know what kind of abomination might be lurking underneath. I believe this era of Greco to be more vintage correct than the earlier era, i have a '78 SE 500 and i think its a really nice strat, and friends of mine who are strat players exclusively have told me its quite good, and i tend to value their opinion more.

I'm from Canada so i can't tell you if its a good deal, i don't know how money translates from where you live. Hopefully a European member can give you a better idea, i'd get better pics before i'd do anything though.

Good luck

Thanks again brokentoes!!

I asked the seller for more pics and I ll think about it!
If I do get some photos I ll post here for your input!
