Happy New Year! Been quite some time since I've last checked in. A bitter divorce took a lot out of me, but now I have the opportunity to get into the sport I've been in love with all my life.

In the Northeast, they are called mini sprints. 1200cc motorcycle engine powered sprint cars. Fast!

Have you moved back to the States?

Are the cars the same size as Sprint cars or more like a Midget? I would love to try that, love watching the World of Outlaws. Also want to hit th Chili Bowl one year in Tulsa.

I'm still in Japan. I guess you could consider this my summer hobby (expensive one at that!). I go home to NY every year for July and August, so that's when I'll be getting in all the racing I can.

They are just a tad smaller than full sized sprint cars (WoO). They still use the big stagger on the rear wheels and it's not uncommon to see one pulling the front wheels off the ground coming out of the corners. I'd like to do the chili bowl one year. Couple local guys giving it a shot.
