NGD Tokai Super Edition Strat MIJ. Model A ST-55H SWR

Just took possesion of this white Tokai Super Edition. I know very little about it and was hoping someone here could help me with the year and the specs on it. The serial # is L25799. I think it is stock except for perhaps the knobs. There are still remnants of the protective plastic sheeting around several of the screws. other than a scatch or two on the back plastic covers it is near mint. A closet queen perhaps.

I just got it today and have not taken the strings off or the pick guard to look for clues. Everything is in working order on it other than scratchy tone knobs. Any help with the specs will be greatly appreciated.

Your knobs are the same as on my 84 Super Edition, so they look stock to me.
