My new LC80

Just had to post some pictures. Just a boring white LC80 to some, but I love it 2005 serial number, bought it new for ?580. Only two alterations made. 1) Schaller straplocks added and 2) Truss rod cover replaced with a Les Paul Custom one. I hated that arrow head one that was on it.

Beats the bejeezuz out of my old Les Paul Classic 8)

That looks great - a really cool guitar.

Did the LP TRC fit without any mods?

The hole at the nut is the original and the right size for the Gibson screw, the other hole had to be filled and a new one drilled about 2mm nearer the top of the headstock. Took me about 5 minutes to do I don't really know why Tokai changed the TRC from the bell shape to the arrow. I know it only happened a couple of years ago. Maybe Gibson were getting shirty again ? :roll:

Like Paul said ... since I owned an Epi Black Beauty LP Custom I've never reached for a Custom ...

But this one is marvellous !

Because I've not got around to getting the plain bell truss rod cover engraved "Love Rock Custom" yet :lol: Seriously, it looks better than the horrible new arrow TRC :-?
