On my LS140s(p 90) i might have a wiring problem.

It is currently wired as so:

pup hot wire runs to the first terminal of the volume pot. the selector switch runs to the middle terminal on volume pot. the third is not used and grounded to the casing.

the capacitor runs from the first terminal on the volume pot(where the pup hot connects) to the middle terminal of the tone pot.

I thought the tone capacitor only connects to the middle of the tone pot, and then to ground.. should it connect to the terminal where the pup wire connects??

I figured out what I'm describing is just the "modern" les paul wiring. If I want the 50's style, I would swap cap position and tone ground. This would save a little trebble bleed off.

I like altering the tone between the two pups with volume and tone roll off, so I think the "modern" way gives more tone variances between two pups in middle position...I think...... :D
