Anyone done this,if so what store did you yous and what was your overall experience
I did, kurosawa music machida via reverb and excellent overall experience, as quick and easy if not quicker and easier than ordering from a U.K. shop.

But factor in 20% import on what the guitar + postage costs

They were recommended but can't navigate there web site as can't see a english translation option,surley more expensive on reverb because of fees than direct from the store

@VMS

Digimart is an option with a few shops being helpful to non-Japanese speaking inquiries/customers.
Dig around, locate items you may be interested in, collect shop names/URLs, try and contact a few of them and see if you obtain any responses.

You have other options such as proxies; From Japan, Buyee, Rakuten, ZenMarket, Jauce, Rinkya, etc.
Look into those and others to see if you like what you see as far as what they offer within their services.

Use this for translating unless you speak & write Japanese

Good luck .......

Maybe, but I made what I thought was a cheeky offer on the love rock I bought, it was advertised at £840 + postage and I paid £730 plus postage. All in, guitar cost + shipping + import fees was almost exactly £1000.

The guitar I wanted wasn’t available anywhere else at the time for less money, new or second hand.
