How much is this Fernandes Tele worth?

Hi guys,

A friend of mine wants to buy this guitar from a seller who only provided these two pictures, but he has no clue about the value of the guitar. How much do you guys think he should offer? Also, does the guitar look legit?

Hello Dudu.
You have to check for specs. If Fernandes was a model for Europe made they were called R models(R6 and R7 according to spanish importer at the time: lmid late 90?s),one 50?s and one 60?s model. If japanese then it would be similar to Tokai in specs but not mad ein the same factory. I would give 450 euro here in Spain,maybe 500 if have good specs I like. Sight unseen of course....

I'll most likely come back with some more pictures. My buddy says there's a "Made in Japan" inscription on the neck near the joint. Don't know if it's a decal or silk screened. I figured it's either a RTE-70 or a RES-60. I'll let Fernandes experts give a verdict though, I'm clueless when it comes to this brand.

My buddy sent me some slightly better pictures. I was expecting a serial number on the neck plate or the back of the neck, but as it turns out there isn't any.
