Greco EG Mint Collection 1982 v 1984 manufacturer question

I was hoping some here with more knowledge on the issue could chime in.

My question is does anyone know if the Greco EG series guitars from 1982 and from 1984 were made by the same manufacturer or were they made by different companies?

I believe the Greco Mint Collection series during that period was made by Fujigen Gakki:
