I'm looking to trade my Tokai AST-56 Stratocaster, made in Japan.
I believe it is circa 1984 judging by the headstock shape and electronics (these tokai's are kinda hard to date). It is a rare vintage blonde finish, you can see the wood-grain through the finish better than the photos show. One piece soft-V 7.25 radius neck. I have changed out the pickups to GFS Alnico V with a Mojotone strat wiring kit. The original pickups and wiring harness (pots, switch, etc.) are included. This is a great guitar and has the lowest action of any strat I've ever played. There are a couple small dings on the back of the neck, nothing noticeable when playing. Frets are 70-80% I'd say. Body is in good shape no buckle rash just a few small dings. Overall normal play wear for a 25+ yr. old instrument. All original (except for the pickup swap, but can easily be converted back). Great mojo with this one. Comes with Fender padded gig bag.
I'm mainly interested in trading for a 335 style guitar with hums or mini hums, but I'm willing to hear what you've got!
I might be willing to put up some extra cash depending on the guitar offered.
Trade value of $600 (cash price $500 PayPal + shipping).
I'm open to pretty much anything except "shred" guitars.
