this is the guitar that started me on the MIJ path. It's a pretty rare epiphone casino made in the almost legendary matsumoko factory. As most people know these days these casinos are very close to the original usa models in terms of structure and detail and a world away from the korean and chinese models. This has had a few of the "Lennon" mods, grover machine heads and gotoh bridge with nylon saddles (i have the originals). Quality of build is unusually high with braided wire and dust covers on the pots. Unique sound acoustically and when cranked you can do oasis, beatles, weller with feedback that you can control. Only issues are:
It had a bigsby that has been removed
the strap button was moved but is back where it should be
it has HANK etched into the fret markers (you can hardly see it and it might polish out). Not my first choice of guitars I want to sell but I'm putting up a couple and seeing what goes.
I was thinking about ?600
