Ebay - '77 Tokai 'Earliest Springy Sound'?

The seller actually knows his Tokai.....good to see some sellers do their homework....so it seems.
First Springy is made from around October 1977, and did not have a serial number stamped on the neck plate, the neck plate was the narrower type with smaller rounded corners, typical of other MIJ strats at the time...then around late 1978 or early 1979 they used the neck plate similar size to Fender and stamped serial numbers on them to date them.

Serial and model numbers on the early, narrow plate models are ink stamped in the neck pocket. From my 78:
