Cheap Mahogany 355 Copies

I've noticed three ebayers in Canada all have cheap Mahogony 355 copies on ebay at the same time. I think two are from the same dealer using different names but I could be wrong.

Does anyone know anything about these guitars and why they are so cheap - around $200 Canadian?

There are two schools of thought on this.

The people I know who import guitars from China, get the odd Tokai in the batch. Some claim they are overuns from an offical Tokai production run that a Chinese factory knocks out.

and other believe they are blatant Chinese knock offs.


Either way, if you buy from Yipo in China , you can order a Tokai badged guitar. There made better then MIK dross I have seen.
