Hi, Does anybody know when Burny last made the 3 pick-up SG Custom in Japan. I have got one which I think is a '93 but I am not sure.
These seem very rare - I couldn't find another anywhere on the web, so here are some details for the experts out there :-
2 screw truss rod cover - not the older one with a 'thorn' on each side, I think mine is referred to as a palace shape.
What I like to call a 'Lightning bolt' headstock inlay (the bar in the centre isn't separated from the four points (only two).
VH-1 pick-ups (tiny vh-1 sticker on each pick-up ring).
Bridge, tailpiece and tuners marked as Made in Japan.
No fret edge-binding (surprisingly!!)
Colour is black with white scratchplate.
All hardware gold plated as per usual with customs.
