Breezysound TW ..Where was it made?

Hello everyone, I've just joined the forum and have just acquired a tokai breezysound that i'm trying to date/locate.
it has the letters TW stamped on the headstock, followed by the numbers 18110061.
I can't seem to find any mention of TW on the TOKAI REGISTRY. does anyone have any idea of where it was made?

I think it’s Chinese. Possibly counterfeit?

Hard to know what is legit when it comes to Chinese and Korean production.

Possibly counterfeit. Not totally sure, and you may never be.

Made in 2018

Looks like the "BREEZY SOUND" part of the decal is really close to the edge.

Not sure if I have seen that before.

At any rate, it was not made in Japan, and so it would have been a low priced guitar no matter what.

Some of these can sound really good. Hopefully you didn't pay much and can enjoy it for what it is.

The body is bound like a rare early 60s Custom Tele.

Your best bet may be to contact Tokai and ask them if your guitar is legit. Hopefully they can tell you if anyone can.

thanks a lot. I paid £100 for it so quite happy. I later found this guitar with the "TW stamp on it that states it's made in china 2018 TOKAI Breezysound double bound Telecaster electric guitar Maple Neck China • £305.00

Yep. Also 2018.

Still don't know if it was made under authorization of Tokai and that may not matter to you.
