Aluminium Pickguards...

Was it only the SE800 Super Reals strats that came with aluminium pickguards?

SE800, SE1000 and SE1200 have aluminium pickguards.
No other I believe.

What's the difference?
I've read the SE1200 have a "birdeyes" neck.
I've never seen one then I can confirm this.

birdseye is a type of rare figuring in the maple, its more cosmetic than anything, very beautiful..

but the 800's have huge V necks, I dont remember if the one 1200 I had and the one 1000 I had were as big...

Sweet.... a se800SR is on its way to a new owner....me! Very excited about the playing that neck...

BTW have you noticed any improvement re: sheilding/ noise reduction coz of gaurd??

I have an SE 800 w/ aluminum Pic guard and it is my quietest single coil guitar! I think it must be the pic guard!
