A couple of interesting yellow guitars have come up on my radar but I'm torn about which one to go for.

There this one brand new TJ78 MIJ that will be around ?450 with shipping

Or this one from Chingo an 80's MIJ Burny ?460 but I'll have to pay import duty on top, can anyone give me a rough idea of what thats lightly to be.

Any words of wisdom guys, what do you think of the prices any good?

Cheers

i remember i bid on one of those yellow double cut juniors which was being sold as new several months' back, and it went for ?300, so that price, while probably decent (compared to the current RRP, anyway) isn't as good as I've ever seen. I would add though that the shop which sold them that cheap seemed to be getting rid of some tokais, they also had a tokai singlecut LP special copy which went for around ?400, so those prices might be one-offs. EDIT: I missed both of them, by the way. They both finished at the exact same time, and I was kind of trying to hedge my bets while making sure I didn't accidentally end up with both! Funnily enough, the same person won both of them, so I wonder if he/she only meant to get one? :)

EDIT #2: import duty and VAT is likely to be somewhere in the region of 20-25% of the total price, including postage. check the hmrc website to be sure of the current amount, as i haven't checked it for a while.
