Feel free to post more pics. It’s a pretty unique guitar.

Can you see the flame through the black stain?

I will post if I have better pics.
No you can not see the flame throught the black stain, but you can clearly see the flames inside the F-holes where the wood is not finished.
You can notice the flame also in the pic i took for you showing the ES-150 sticker.

They mention the cashew finish in this thread:

The ES100's are spec'd with nitro, the ES150's are spec'd with a cashew lacquer (same as the spec on the LS200's).

Granted the models change and I’m not sure which 150 they are referring to but I had noticed a yellow tint to your binding. Interesting.

My guitar is in 1991 I have never see a mention of Cashew Finish so late.
It has a beautiful finish and really thin I have to say you can see at the edge of the F-holes that the black is missing at some places (pic with the sticker) and its not like a ding or a chip, its a very smooth and soft transition from the black to the non finished part

Is it possible that it is actually non catalog guitar from 2010???

Is it stamped on the back of the headstock "Made In Japan"?

I found a catalog pic of a black ES that jumped out at me and I thought about your guitar.

Note all the flamed models.

TRCs are obviously different.
