I guess threre are three roads one can take: buy it because the sentimental value (closely linked to what we know as GAS) is what matters to you, buy because you think you get some real value for THAT price, which I personally cannot tell because I never lay my hands on a 1200, keep away from it...

There is a Tokai in some kind of dark red burst on ebay.de at the moment, seller has customised this one with Gibson 57 PUs and a aluminum tailpiece. says it is a one-piece body, incl. case, looks very neat and in real good condition, very nice finish - BTW he offered me a reasonable BIN price...
