Hello Ross - Where are you getting the information about the model numbers? Since I got one yesterday...I am also interested in tracking down additional information about it. I have a Korean made Tokai ES-60 so I can't wait to compare the two.

I was reading the earlier posting about the Chinese 335 Dillion/Tokai. I decided to look at my Tokai Love Rock I bought last year....and there is no serial number to be seen on it ...and it does not have a Made in Korea or Made in Japan stamp. Did I get myself a fake? I think I bought a ****...

I emailed music canada as they have another of the same guitars listed. He has told me they are made in China. He said they came from the Dillion plant there - but have been labelled Tokai ..whatever that might mean.

I thought the only active tokai distributor in canada was Active. Am I wrong?

I've noticed three ebayers in Canada all have cheap Mahogony 355 copies on ebay at the same time. I think two are from the same dealer using different names but I could be wrong. Does anyone know anything about these guitars and why they are so cheap - around $200 Canadian?
