Can anyone tell me how large/small the neck is on an Edwards LP Special type guitar? One with P90s and wrap tail bridge. Don't know the model number. Please compare to a Gibby neck if at all possible. I'm most familiar with the Gibby 339 50s Fat neck.

I tend to pick right over the neck pickup. On my Burny LP copy the neck pickup is the same height as the fretboard and I end up tapping on the pup a lot. The pup is slightly microphonic so the tapping is pretty noticeable. Anyone else have this problem? On another note any good suggestions...
