One of my pet projects (yes a guitar of course) is a mahogany bodied beast. Does anybody know of a good woodstain/dye to replicate the cherry red colour used by G****n (sorry to use that name on this site). Also it needs to be available in the UK. Bob W

Here in the Uk I've seen Epihone models advertised at a dealer as 'high quality made in Japan', they are on sale at very similar prices to the Tokais in this country (Les Pauls and 335 clones etc). Does anyone know anything about them, are they perhaps made in the Tokai factory? BobW

I am interested in a new Tokai SG, but am having difficulty finding one in the south east of England. However can anyone tell me whether these new instrumants are manufactured in Japan or Korea?
