Thanks...I was playing through a reissue Marshall Bluesbreaker that's had a bunch of mod...PTP board, Mercury Magnet transformers and ditched the Celestion Greenbacks for a Celestion G12-H and an Eminence Red Fang. I love that amp...has all the balls I need and cleans up nicely by just rolling...
I put a new pickguard on my Tokai ES 120 and had to reglue the block to the new one...I used a gel type super glue...just a small drop. I like the gel, it's easier to control than the liquid type.
I don't believe it is...the logo looks off and it has the large bridge posts like the MIK Tokais...I sent the seller a message about this and he said that the 1980 and 81 Love Rocks had different spec which might include the larger bridge posts...what do you all think...
That guitar looks like an Epi Dot Studio...does Tokai even make one similar to that...a 335 style with no binding, and only two controls for the pickups?
There's a guy on Ebay who sells repro plates...they're very close to the originals. His are $15...originals go for $150 - $300...finding the repro clinched the deal as far as putting the Bigsby on my Tokai...I really wanted a plate like that to cover the stud holes and I wouldn't have done it...
