    SA800

Well here's an update on the SA800. I replaced the pickups with some pretty old and rusty looking gibson classic '57 PAF's, and while my luthier was doing that he found a fix for the varitone!! I gotta tell you, this thing is a beast! Sounds awesome! If you haven't stumbled across my other posts...

    don't buy a Fender Blues Junior .....

Hey Horslip, there's only one better fender amp in the price range and that's an old school vibro champ if you can find one. It's not that versatile, it's impossible to overdrive but it's a very clean, sweet, chiming bluesy sound that responds brilliantly to pedals. That said, there is NOTHING...

My Collection of Vintage Japanese Guitars!

Hey Bluethird, just worked out why I like the Epi best! I'm lazy and change my strings every 6 months!! Just changed the strings on the riviera as I have some studio time next week. Now even though I've owned the guitar for years, I'd never even checked what pickups where in it - I only knew I...

My Collection of Vintage Japanese Guitars!

Hey Bluethird, I reckon I prefer the Epi out of the semi's..... this week anyway!! Both have good qualities, but the Riviera is so ridiculously smooth on the neck pick-up...throw it through my Plum Crazy fuzzy lady or even my crappy old russian big muff and it just sounds like the sweetest...
