Does anyone else think this is a 1991?

Mij- Vintage - confused , I said in the 1st auction, the photo is shown with 57 gibson pickups in it, but it is BEING SOLD with the double trick pickups. And now the 2nd auction Screaming 82. That makes 2 sets, not 3.

Does anyone else think this is a 1991?

MIJ-VINTAGE " run far away" run far away from what ? I think its a 1981, and if it is a 1991, its still a great guitar ! As a matter of fact, ONLY the HIGHER-END ($1000 models ) in 1991 had F-E-B.

Does anyone else think this is a 1991?

Hi - This is my guitar, its a excellent guitar, I always thought it was a 1981, it came with the double trick pickups, and i was getting low-ball offers, so i though I would sell the double trick's seperately. Like I said it did have FRET-Edge-binding, I dont think the 1991 had F-E-B ? I...

    can a 1983 ls80 have a 3 piece back?

bluethird " contradiction in terms" that is exactly why I asked the question? " ls80 or ls60" ----- the 3 pc back is a big contradiction. I will load up some more photos, but I am telling you, ( its got a 18deg. headstock, and had F-E-B,before the refret, is that not a ls80?) One...

    can a 1983 ls80 have a 3 piece back?

So i guess the question is what model ? I say ls80 with a 3 piece back. I cut a piece of cardboard at 14 deg, and 18 deg, and its definitely a 18 deg. headstock.

Hi people, thanks for all the info. I will get some photos up soon, but to answer some of your questions, I am not a newbe to m-i-j guitars, I have had close to 60 m-i-j gibson les paul copies, ( burnys' tokai's, greco's, aria's, etc. ) . I am very familiar with how good tokai matches...
