I'm in the same boat; I don't know **** about newer Tokai models.

My 'newest' LS is my 2000 Tokai Love Rock LS-320 VF, and it is now 21 years old.
I don't really know much about it because I only see it about three, maybe four times a year.
I do know it's all original & the pick guard was never installed.

Cool. Do you know what year the guitar I posted was made?

Serial number 1839355.

“Made in Japan” in black ink.

Here’s a different one on Reverb from Japan.

Tokai is one of the most famous Japanese electric guitar brand.
All guitars are hand-made with their original production skills since 1977.
Popular series are LS, LC and ES.
Tokai uses "glue" for attaching fingerboard and neck.
Just few craftsmen, who allowed to do gluing, do this process with special skill to make no gap between fingerboard and neck.
Tokai guitar sounds with great resonance by itself.

I would assume that is a 2018 example, going by the serial # but that's only my assumption; it seems to fit though.

Personally I would use brass tacks to fasten the fingerboard to the neck

I believe this must be one of those special "english from japanese" translation.
Can't say for sure, but I heard that they where different time periods at Gibson with different types of glue, and that vintage freaks will often search for guitars with those features.
Maybe its what they wanted to say.
