I saw SRV Labor Day weekend 1984 during the 'Couldn't Stand the Weather Tour.'
This show was about one month before the Carnegie Hall show.
I would have to say this was a prime time to see SRV play a gig; he was on a roll with DT, and SRV's tone & playing were at a peak, IMO.
That was a very memorable show for so many reasons; it was likely a perfect day, in so may ways. 8)
'holier than thou cuntiness' was originally exported to the entire planet from the land of rocks and trees aka Cadada, and now the entire solar system is infected :lol:

Amen. I saw him a couple times. Magical shows. Was really painful when he passed. What a soul.
