I like that tune too.

And cool video. That is an early music video. Obviously overdubs and made for a tv audience. What year was that made?

I recently binged on Men At Work videos. More of the very earliest music videos.

Geeez…. Looks like that was filmed in 1973. And that footage was discarded essentially. Crazy.

Girl you taught me how to hurt real bad and cry myself to sleep
You showed me how this town can shatter dreams
Another lesson about a naive fool that came to Babylon
And found out that the pie don't taste so sweet

Now it's guitars, Cadillacs, hillbilly music
Lonely, lonely streets that I call home
Yeah my guitars, Cadillacs, hillbilly music
Is the only thing that keeps me hanging on

There ain't no glamour in this tinseled land of lost and wasted lives
And painful scars are all that's left of me
Oh but thank you girl for teaching me brand new ways to be cruel
If I can find my mind now, I guess I'll just leave

And it's guitars, Cadillacs, hillbilly music
Lonely, lonely streets that I call home
Yeah my guitars, Cadillacs, hillbilly music
Is the only thing that keeps me hanging on

Oh it's guitars, Cadillacs, hillbilly music
Lonely, lonely streets that I call home
Yeah my guitars, Cadillacs, hillbilly music
Is the only thing that keeps me hanging on

It's the only thing that keeps me hanging on
It's the only thing that keeps me hanging on

Sometimes this tune just pops into my head even though I haven’t played the album in ages. One of those tunes that’s just buried deep in my memory or something.

digging deep back to the mid '70s 8)

looks like Michael & company must have had shoe envy 'cause they couldn't steal the much taller shoes from Ace, Gene, and Paul

Cool. Another flashback. Frampton. The guy seems like he loved playing that guitar. I can’t look at a 3 pickup custom and not think about him. That’s saying something.

This tune sounds like Professor Longhair to me, but was apparently written by Woody Guthrie. :o
