Looking for parts to restore an old Ibanez Artist guitar.

I have posted on the Ibanez site, but hoping this site has some members that may have parts that could help?

I am looking for parts for my 1979 AR500, but other Artist parts from this era may work as well.

Looking for:
control compartment cover (see image for shape)
battery compartment cover
gold cloud tailpiece
gold gibraltar bridge

Here is what the parts look like from another guitar:

Any help welcome.

Thanks so much!

The control cover is easy enough to make though, saving a little dosh.

Thanks for the links!

That bridge looks right. I’ll take a closer look. Thanks!

The cloud tailpiece is a slightly earlier version that is one piece. Mine is a later two piece version.

As for the cover, a guy I know makes these in plastic, but eventually I would like an original part because the guitar it’s for is fairly rare and I really want to restore it to as close to original as possible.

But thanks for the tips. Let me know if you see anything else. Much appreciated.

This is the cover I need, with or without the four center holes to mount the circuit board.

This might be of use if you haven't already seen it

This is cheap enough to modify

Thanks for the links. That was a cool discussion from 2006. I’ve been on that forum since 2010 and posted there as well. The reissues are usually a little different. The plating is different, etc so side by side they are a different color, so my goal is to find vintage parts in good shape. My latest thought was to buy a vintage guitar with binding rot and part it out. Keeping my eyes open for a good candidate. Seems folks are after the pickups so that might defray my costs if I find one to buy. I appreciate the links. Those were cool. Thanks!

Colour changing to the brass is possible by various methods also colours via Internet pictures are notoriously vague. Finding a donor could be a long wait.

I'd be tempted to buy some gib stuff from the German site and have a play around with them in the mean time.

After almost ten years of hunting for these parts I finally got them off an Ibanez MC500 that had a broken head stock and was being parted out on eBay.

So thank you Sam and Luigi of Southside guitars in NYC!!! Thank you!

The battery cover looks like it could have come off of this guitar. Same wear patterns. Perfect!
