I see it. 0006516. 1980 model?

And that finish does look weird doing that peeling that it’s doing. Moisture?

The face of the head stock is extremely glossy like there is a finish or something put on there that is coming off, or just in really bad shape. Weird.

You are the bass expert, mdvineng, is this a Tokai? You seem skeptical about its authenticity.

Well having looked on a bigger screen. I now see the serial number and all the other details. So it's a real pb40 <45 that has either had a bad DIY re decal and varnish or it bypassed qc. I've never seen such sloppy finishing on any mij guitar.
