Hi, anyone know anything about Tender guitars? I've seen lots of used ones from Japan, mostly strat copies. They all say Tender on the headstock, and in the Fender style script. Then 'Suoersounds' instead of Stratocaster.

On one of these strats, the bridge saddles were stamped TOKAI. On another Supersounds strat, the Tender logo was replaced with a Greco logo. I even saw one with a Suzuki logo (not Bellwood).

Some Tenders had a made in korea sticker on the neck and these have slightly different graphics on the headstock. Not sure if they are knockoffs or licenced copies.

I'm guessing that Greco owned the Tender brand and got factories like Tokai to make them. Not sure if Suzuki made them for Greco too.

I've searched for old Greco catalogues but havent found anything on this topic. Does anyone know about Tender? I'd love to hear about the brands history. Thsnks!
