Came across this on a local classified site - a 'Linos' guitar:

Pretty thing. Have tried google for some more information on the brand, but have found zilch. Anybody seen or heard of them before ?

This guy has one:

He says it had a MIC sticker on it and he paid 48€.

Thank you HJS :)

With the low price and almost total lack of info available, the MIC thing makes a lot of sense.

The one that was for sale here - briefly - was snapped up for 70 euro. Im sorry I missed it :(

Don't worry, there are soooo many great guitars out there! Not that Chinese guitars wouldn't be awesome at times, but there's also a gazillion of underrated MIJ guitars at low second hand prices, and the chance that they'll win your heart is much higher because they have much more overall consistency in quality. :) You might be paying more but the chance that a 70€ guitar is in need of a fretjob, setup and replacing junk parts is pretty high, particularly if you're aiming for some superstrat style metal axe.

Y'know - that's true.

Trawling through the classifieds this time last year I came across this - for less than the cost of that Linos:

There is some seriously good kit out there if you keep your eyes open - and your mind :)
