I had my people on the ground in Japan view the Studio102 1980 LC-110 for 468,000 Yen. There is a crack in the neck at the headstock and massive worming on the back..... So, if you're looking for a LC-110... mine is the deal.

Thank you, Cliff - I almost pulled the trigger on this one.

There are other stores - notably KOMEHYO in my experience - that ignore the facts and overstate the condition. In the KOMEHYO case, there were supposed to be 80% of frets remaining whereas there was none in the middle of the neck. The guitar itself was great and refret did the trick, but in this price range and "B+" description I would expect a bit more honest rating by the seller (in this particular case, LC 110 and 468,000 Yen). A crack in the neck is definitely an issue worth mentioning.

Is it a hairline finish stress crack or did it snap off?

Yeah, they have it mislabeled, but I assume plenty of folks will figure it out and jump on it. Price is crazy low right now.

The picture is super positive. The guitar is actually more dented and scratched, as the previous owner wasn't really of the "caring" type.

I like her non the less.

First, I didn't had this "hooo" moment. As the guitar with the modded pickups sounded darker on my Marshall old Marshall head with celestion speaker. But as I changed my speakers for Scumbacks H75 and played with the setup a bit, the sound became spot on. She's now my favourite. When the Tokai LS195s is all subtleness of lights, this guitar is all the subtlenesses in shades.
