I need to rewire my scruffy ST55, I can see it's been messed with a bit so I want to rewire and clean up the brass earth plate which should reduce the hum when plugged in as the pots and switch cannot earth properly through the corrosion. Has anyone got a clear image of the pots and switch wiring? or a schematic?
Thanks in advance!

It’s an old photo from the early 2000s but does this help?

Here's a pic from my 1981 ST80 with a 5 way.

And my 1979 ST100 with a 3 way.

Here is the ceramic cap my 1981 ST70 had in it which I replaced when I re-wired it.

Your 5 way switch wiring is exactly the same as mine which is good to know. Same 473Z cap too.

Image of pristine new wiring for a Springy from the 1979 catalog.

3 way selector?

Sadly the original switch is not going to survive. It's had some rough soldering on the past and one of the tabs has snapped off. Looks I'll have to replace it with an Oak Grigsby unless I can fine a similar replacement. Shame, they are quite a piece of engineering!

Yeah. That’s a bummer. I love the 3 ways with the soft between positions.
