Some are labeled LP-A and some LP-F.

LP-A (F&R) may be MKII?
Neck/Green (F): 8.54k, 8.5k
Bridge/Yellow (R): 8.57k, 8.5k
White label red border. Pole screws go thru.

LP-F (F&R) may be MKIII?
Neck/Green (F): 10.8k, 10.6k, 11.5k
Bridge/Yellow (R): 11.2k, 11k, 11.5k
White label, red border. Holes for pole screws, no screws (neck). No holes (bridge).
White label, no border. Holes for pole screws, no screws (neck & bridge).

First appeared in the late 1990s?

There may have been earlier versions with black and gray wires (LP-A), and one a little later with gray and brown wires (LP-H) ?

Here for sale are a pair of Tokai PAF MK2 pickups made by Gotoh Japan in superb conditionwith Nickel covers.

These pickups are fitted in Tokai Japan Love Rock models up to the current ULS250 model in the UK which retails for nearly £2000.

They are excellent Gibson PAF type pickups.

The neck pickup measures 8.54 ohms and the bridge pickup measures 8.57 ohms.

Included are the mounting screws and springs.

The pickup with the sticker stamped LP-A F is the neck pickup with the green wire the other is of course the bridge pickup.

they are excellent . a huge improvement over what i am now convinced were MKIII Gotoh pickups.

these labelled LP-A R and LP-A F read around 8k both pickups whereas the ones labelled LP-F(F) and LP-F-R read around 8k at the neck and 11k at the bridge.

the new mkII pafs are more open and woody with no mud. fantastic ! :p

They look like the ones that were in my 2009 LS-90...i?m sure that they were not the stock pickups in mine...they were soo muddy that i replaced them with a set of Burstbuckers(I & II).
Now i can?t be happier........btw.

Not sure if this is correct?

Gotoh pickups from Tokai Love Rock 2009

These have been taken from a 2009 Tokai Love Rock Model LS80.

They are PAF MK2 made in Japan and are idea for blues and rock music, excellent upgrade for an Epiphone or made in China/Korea Tokai other Les Paul copy.

I have upgraded to some handwound pickups and these are just laying around the house.

Grab a bargain 99p no reserve.

Sorry, forgot to mention the pick ups have been rubbed with wire wool to give a dull vintage look, as you can see in the photos.

The bridge reads 11K and the neck reads 10.6K for those of you who maybe interested.

I have just been informed that these pick ups maybe MK3 and not indeed MK2's as I have original posted on account of them being marked LP-F F and LP-F R.

Apparently MK2 are marked as LP-AF and LP-AR. I have no knowledge on the distinctive details of Tokai markings but want to ensure I have not described them incorrectly.

It is looking like there were two pickups in MIJ guitars concurrently by the mid 2000s.

The Keiyo with the steel braided cables, and a Gotoh made pickup (MK2 or 3) with green and yellow plastic wires.

I olso own the gotoh ones, with green and yellow wires: LP-A (8,5k) and LP-F (11,5k) have the same dc impedance on neck and on bridge.
