Both guitars are made in China.
ALS-65S-GT (the traditional one) This model is for about 150 dollars more expensive, but is there a big difference to the Legacy p90 GT Les Paul guitar?

Can you post pictures? Some of these guitars with “Legacy” on the truss rod cover seem to be counterfeit Tokais.

Here is also the ALS 65s model https://muzicman.com.au/tokai-traditional-series-als-65s-lp-style-electric-guitar-gold-top/

That price is nuts for a Chinese Tokai. And I would ask for pics of the serial number on the Legacy one.

It's Aus dollars, so the legacy series is around 300 euros.
This are the specs, main differences are from the specs that the ALS 65s is using Jatoba freatboard and Mahogany Back and I think different pickups, Not sure if this Chinese models have serial number, I would want a Japanese one but my budget says this or budget Epiphone/Harley Benton with p90..

The Legacy one was never licensed by Tokai and is counterfeit. The previous distributor had them made in China without Tokai's knowledge and Tokai never received any payment for them.

Just saw this second link that you posted. Yeah, these are really bad knock offs.

Maybe change the TRC from "Legacy" to "Fake". 8)

Not sure where these are being sold, but they are obviously illegal.

Jade Music Australia sold them to all of their Australian dealers and didn't tell them they weren't licensed. They essentially scammed both their dealers and Tokai Japan.

Did they get sued? I can't believe they could get away with that in Australia.

And how could anyone think they could get away with that? Such obvious fakes.

Gotcha.

Hopefully folks will get their money back and these guys will lose their ability to do that to anyone else.

Really crappy way to treat people and they did lasting harm to the brand.
