Hi, I'm new to this Forum.
I have just bought on Reverb a Tokai Love Rock replica of a 1954 Les Paul (Gold Top, P90s, WrapAround tailpiece).
I couldn't find any infos about this guitar, except for a YouTube video in which it's said it's a very limited edition labeled as LS144.
Does anybody knows more about it?
I will get the guitar in around 10 days, so I don't know its SN yet.

Wonder if it was some sort of short run or special order model?

Not a catalog item evidently.

Maybe someone else will chime in who knows?

Beautiful guitar. Congratulations

Ahhh. Ask him. Gottfried is a member here (togps).

I am sure he will respond to a message through the Faber website.

So it looks like there were several limited runs of this model by Faber over time?

I think this is the video you mentioned stating limited run of 12? Not sure of the age of this one.

Note that they do not call it an LS144, but an LS-2 R4.

The Faber site gives specs for the LS-1 R4 Reborn Old.

“Specs. Tokai Reborn Old, LS1 Customshop”

The one in the video looks exactly like the one I have bought.
Also on the Faber Web Site they are selling a "1952 conversion from a 2008 1956 Tokai Love Rock", which should confirm that that year there was a limited run of my model

The Facebook one looked like it too. Not sure what year that guitar is. Can’t see the serial number.

Looks like there are some differences between your 2008 Love Rock version (LS2R4) and the circa 2016 "Reborn Old" version (LS1R4) from the Faber site.
