Hi,
I have had my 77 Greco Spacey Sound Tele for quite a few years and love the way it feels and plays but the tone has always been slightly muted in the Maxom pick-ups which can be great for some things but I wouldn’t might being able to get a little more top end clarity from the humbuckers. It also has a few exaggerated low kids that I have to EQ out sometimes. I was wondering if changing the volume or tone pots to a higher value might help.. I’m not sure if they are 250s or 500s. (Not sure how to add photo to this thread)
Serial number on volume pot is 50407(1) with J62I written underneath. Tone pot is 504041 with 961J written underneath. Pick ups have serial number 17608.
Thanks
Chris
