That is interesting.

First off, it has an "export dimple" on the head stock and a 3 screw truss rod cover. Guessing this was made in Korea or China?

And interesting to see a trapeze on an LP that is not a gold top with P90s.

Any markings inside the pickup routes? Serial numbers or made in... on the back of the head stock?

Also, are there post holes for a tailpiece?

Bolt on neck?

Korean no serial number, don't remember seeing codes in pu cavity

If there is a post there, then it could be an after market trapeze?

I have seen where Gibson used posts for the trapeze to adjust the height I guess, and some without the posts and just flying in the air like yours.

No idea.

Maybe someone else will jump in. There is a lot of mystery around the Korean models.

thanks for the reply
there's no post, a freind of mine has a guitar shop, he reckons it could have been a show promo model perhaps.
It's very well finished as you can see and very stable, played plenty of gigs with it.
cheers
Al

I just looked more closely. What looked like a post is a slot head screw roughly where a post might be. Do you know why that is there? Is there one on the other side? Seems odd.

i know its bizzare, it's tiny and there's only one of them,

Wow. Interesting for sure.

The Korean models are shrouded in mystery from what I can tell. Hopefully someone will come along with something to add.

It has a beautiful top. Is that veneer or a solid maple cap?
