Hi, after long days of thinking, I decided to sell my lovely Breezysound. I'm not playing guitar for a long time and will spend money for new furniture. I will only keep one Stratocaster, which will hopefully serve my needs...
It must be an ATE-70 made in Japan, an export model for the UK an a real player. It is in very good shape (see pics) an I upgraded it with following items:
4-Way-Switch, CTS-Potis, Hovland Caps and a Switchcraft Input Jack, Mudcat-Pickups by Leosounds (handwound). The Breezy sounds great now, very nice neck pickup and a twangy bridge pup. Sometimes I roll down the tone in the bridge position to let it sound a bit warmer. The RS Guitarworks caps and Potis are great, using the tone poti has a nice effect in every position. And last but not least, I installed a Callaham bridge, which makes the Breezy sing very, very nice. The bridge costs over 140 Euro here in Germany, but it is worth it, I think. I still have the original bridge, the pickups, the potis and the switch.
The guitar is in Hamburg, Germany, shipping will be in a new tweed guitar case.
