Hi guys! I’m looking for some more information about my new bass. It is HardPuncher, SN 102667. Any ideas?

Need more pictures to help with the model (TPB40 BB?).

This 10xxxx serial number scheme was used for some Hard Punchers in the mid 80s. Still not clear why.

If you can sometime, it might help to remove the pickguard so you can look in the control cavity and look at the pots. They may have a date code. Worth checking. Photograph it all when you do. That may help sort out what years they used this 10xxxx serial number system. Likely 1984/85.
